Verhaal van Syrische vluchteling in Zandvoort

· leestijd 7 minuten Algemeen

The tragic story of Syrian people

The biggest humanitarian crisis of twenty-first century.
You dont know the horrible aspects of war.I have been through the Syrian civil war and i know.I have seen cities and homes in ashes.i have seen hundreds of dead people and body parts .and suffering .pain .I tell you war is Hell.
We live our life through screens and images ,and we don’t know what’s real or fake anymore,
What if you read.for instance.that more than 1000.000 Syrians have been killed since the beginning of the war in 2011?
about third of them were women and children, and 7 million are displaced inside Syria, roaming from
town to town . looking for safety? Or that 5 million live as refugees in neighboring countries?
Sheer terror and unbearable suffering.
Death everywhere.War Crimes and Human rights abuses , Crimes against humanity ,Massacres and other abuses being committed by the government forces in Syria.
This war was sold to the world like a war against terrorism..
but its not like advertised.
This war its not against terrorism [ISIS]
you might think ,
It’s between good and evil ,
It’s a devastating war between brave rebels versus the evil dictatorial regime and Islamic state[ISIS]
In this a bloody war, the death toll to be over 1000000 ,
The whole world has been watching the Syrian tragedy grow at an alarming rate.
With all these atrocities and burtaity in Syria: The whole world is watching – and doing nothing
It’s now the biggest humanitarian crisis of our time.
you most now tell us that we should be patient in our dying .due to the perceived need for a legislative resolution to stop the bloodshed since 2011,
And what most hypocritical, is the focus on the type of weapons used instead of the actual deaths. as if we are being killed only by chemical weapons.
History will tell the world’s leaders lies and droop.
this is happening at the present time.and lot more.

the story
In March 2011 in the southern city of Daraa the security forces arrested 15 schoolboys between the ages of 10 and 15 years old because they painted revolutionary slogans and Some phrases demanding freedom on a school wall .
The police arrested the schoolboys and took them to a gloomy interrogation room.. The children were beaten and bloodied, burned and had their fingernails pulled out by the secret police unchecked brutality .
After that demonstrations began to spread in all syrian cities demanding the punishment Of those responsible for the arrest and torture of the teenagers
On Friday, Syria saw the bloodiest day of its 5-week-old uprising,
As security forces shot down close to 100 protesters across the country. Security forces fired on mourners the following day, killing at least nine at funerals for those who died in Friday’s massacre. On Monday,
The violence continued. This time, security forces stormed the city of Daraa,
where it all began
It’s all started with calls for freedom and peaceful street demonstrations against Assad regime
Pro-democracy protests erupted
The unrest triggered nationwide protests demanding President Assad’s resignation.
The government’s use of force to crush the dissent merely hardened the protesters’ resolve.
By July 2011, hundreds of thousands were taking to the streets across the country
The ever increasing numbers of people killed by security forces have fuelled the growing protest movement, the demands of which have intensified from simple requests for reform to the all-out ouster of Assad.
The story of Daraa is the story of the Syrian uprising: A single incident of brutality by a lawless secret police which ignited protests that swept the whole country.
Assad’s regime has shown unprecedented brutality.to deal with the protesters .
the use of excessive force against unarmed people .as well as the negative attitude of the world towards what is happining in syria have led to the biggest humanitarian crisis after the second world war .
Crimes against humanity perpetrated by the Syrian government
As early as 27 April 2011, then UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs, informed the UN Security Council that sources in Syria had reported “the use of artillery fire against unarmed civiliansdoor-to-door arrest campaignsthe shooting of medical personnel who attempt to aid the woundedraids against hospitals, clinics and mosques and the purposeful destruction of medical supplies and arrest of medical personnel”. The Syrian government also allegedly denied access to international monitors, humanitarian groups and human rights organizations while simultaneously shutting off local social media communications. Based on interviews, the Commission of Inquiry on Syria presented its initial findings to the Council in Geneva on 28 November 2011, reporting evidence that crimes against humanity had been committed by military and security forces including: sexual violence, torture, arbitrary detention and murder.
Government attacks also shifted from sporadic violence to targeted large scale killings. The spiraling levels of violence were implemented using cluster bombs, which are prohibited in many states around the world. Among other instances of violence with a high civilian death toll
Witnesses reported the use of torture in 27 detention facilities. run by Syrian intelligence agencies, including at the hands of the commanders in charge. Human Rights Watch also released evidence of a clear chain of command responsibility for atrocities committed all the way up to high-level Syrian officials. Subsequent reports by the Commission of Inquiry also established that gross violations of human rights had been committed by Syrian military and security forces, and stressed the harmful effects on the population, calling for an end to impunity. As of March 2014, the Commission’s investigations confirmed that 17 incidents of intentional mass killing had been perpetrated by government forces and pro-government militias,
one of the deadliest weapons used in this war is the barrel bombs and its used by the Assad’s regime .unguided weapon
It’s typically job from Helicopters they bomb the berrls on homes schools .
The result is a massive explosion and indiscriminate death.
Syrian air force had dropped barrel bombs with shocking intensity , killing hundreds of civilians and injuring many more.
These horrific attacks that resulted in civilians, including small children, suffering excruciating death, are yet more evidence that the Syrian government forces committing war crimes with impunity.
The situation in Syria must be referred to the International Criminal Court as matter of urgency.
One of the doctors who was treating survivors of beral bombs attack.
saidsome victims including infants had lost limbs
also the air force repeatedly carried out indiscriminate ,
and deliberate ,strikes against civilians and the army has also struck populated areas with ballistic missiles which killed thousands of people including children and women .

into the credibility of certain evidence with record to torture and execution of persons incarcerated by the Syrian regime.
The bodies that were photographed since the civil war began showed signs of starvation ,brutal beatings ,strangulation and other forms of torture and killing.
One of the most stark we have documented is the use of siege warfare ,
the denial of humanitarian aid, food and basic necessities such as medical care and clean water have forced people to choose between surrender and starvation,
Chemical Weapons Attack
The Ghouta chemical attack occurred during in the early hours of 21 August 2013. Several opposition -controlled areas in the suburbs around Damascus
the chemical material were struck by rockets containing the chemical agent Sarin Estimates of the death toll range from at least 1,729. to 1850
The footage showed a large number of women and children among the victims of the attacks in Ghouta.
Assad’s government has been accused by Western countries of using chemical weapons over the course of the four-year conflict, that killed thousands of innocent people .
The regime also has been responsible for hundreds of thousands of murders in the region .
detention
It’s very difficult for us to estimate how many people are held, particularly because the government doesn’t allow human rights monitors inside its detention centers. However, we have documented evidence that the government has established a widespread process of detention facilities across the country but we think that more than 250,000 people – civilians, activists, human rights defenders – from the beginning of the revolution to the present day have been arrested by regime forces.
This is in addition to widespread torture methods that we’ve documented in detention facilities across the country, including sexual violence, electrocution, rape burning
Too many people in Syria are suffering terribly from the uncertainty concerning the fate of loved ones who have gone missing, or who have been kidnapped or detained, as a result of the war carried out by the regime on the defenseless people .
More than four years of which souls and minds have been destroyed ,A war that brought nation’s mothers to tears

Syrian people are nothing more but number figures used in the media .
In Syriadeath surrounds us from all sides because of the devastating war conditions in which we live.
There are no words that can depict the real suffering and pain of Syrian people .
Even the best filmmakers cant depict such a scene of a real moment that occurs in our lives.
What is the point of any speech or article? with the inability of the world to stop the bloodshed.
With all this destruction and death and displacement.
Hundreds of tragic stories that have been written in blood and fear .
Stories of suffering and pain .
Thousands of refugees sell every thing they have to sail throug h the rigorous sea looking for safety
When i left Damascus the sorrow was bigger than my dreams. but the hope for a better tomorrow pushed me to overcome my fear
Since i left Damascus every thing led me to love it more.
I came from a country that stands against the injustice .
I came from the cradle of civilizations.
Every day in Syria hundreds of people die including children and women .
Hand in hand we can send our voice to the world to stop the bloodshed of the biggest humanitarian crisis of the century ,
. The failure to prosecute Assad who killed hundred of thousands of innocent people will be the end for the ICC’s brand of global justice.
I would like to thank Europeans who received the Syrian refugees with opened arms and warm hearts, unlike the Arab governments who closed every door in our face and humiliated us
